How is this different from WordPress?

Two real differences. Content lives in files rather than a database, so there is no plugin stack to keep current and no database to back up.

The second is the data layer. Search results, server logs and crawler visits collect into a warehouse you own, which gives a monthly client fee something real to show.

WordPress wins on ecosystem and on finding somebody else who knows it. That is a genuine advantage and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
